Cookie Policy
This policy describes only the cookies and similar technologies that this website actually uses or is in the process of introducing. We do not run advertising, marketing or retargeting trackers, so none are listed here. We are introducing Google Analytics for website measurement, which loads only with your consent.

1. Our approach
The Employe IO website is a static marketing and recruitment site. It has no user accounts and no database of visitors and we do not use advertising or profiling technology. The technologies that store or read information on your device are the strictly necessary security and delivery items below, a single local-storage entry that remembers your cookie choice and — only if you allow them — the embedded Calendly scheduling widget and Google Analytics measurement cookies.
2. Strictly necessary
These are required for security and for the site to work and load without consent.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (third-party, provider: Cloudflare) — the anti-spam and bot check on our contact form. Turnstile loads a script from challenges.cloudflare.com and may set short-lived Cloudflare bot-management and challenge cookies (for example
__cf_bm, typically around 30 minutes and challenge cookies limited to the interaction) plus temporary browser storage used by the widget. Category: essential / security and fraud prevention. Duration: session to approximately 30 minutes. - Hosting and delivery cookies (provider: Lovable hosting on Cloudflare infrastructure) — infrastructure-level cookies our host or its content-delivery network may set to route requests, balance load and protect the site. Category: essential. Duration: session or short-lived. First-party from your perspective, set by our infrastructure.
- employeio_cookie_consent (first-party browser local storage, set by us) — stores your cookie choice (“all” or “essential”) so we do not ask again. Category: essential for honouring your preference. Duration: persists until you clear your browser storage or change your choice below.
3. Optional — analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
We are adding Google Analytics 4 (third-party, provider: Google) to measure how this website is used. It is being introduced and is not collecting visitor data until it is deployed and until you allow non-essential cookies, so nothing described here loads if you choose “Essential only”.
- Google Analytics 4 cookies and storage — the gtag.js measurement script is loaded from googletagmanager.com and sets first-party cookies in the context of this site, typically
_ga(a randomly generated identifier used to distinguish browsers, normally lasting up to 2 years) and_ga_<container-id>(used to keep session state, normally lasting up to 2 years). Names and durations are set by Google and can change. Category: analytics / measurement (non-essential). These cookies are only set after you choose “Allow all”.
What analytics cookies help us measure: the number of visits and unique browsers, which pages, job listings and journal articles are viewed, how visitors move through the site, referring sources such as search engines or links, approximate location at city or region level derived from your IP address, device, browser and screen type and events such as clicks, scrolls and form submissions. We use this only in aggregate to understand and improve the website. We do not send your name, email address, CV or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics and we do not use it for advertising, retargeting or profiling. Google acts as our service provider for this data under its own terms and may process it outside your country; see Google’s Privacy Policy.
4. Optional — embedded third-party content
- Calendly scheduling widget (third-party, provider: Calendly) — on our Contact page we embed a Calendly booking page. When it loads, Calendly can set its own cookies and storage in the context of calendly.com, including functional and preference items and its own operational/analytics identifiers, typically ranging from session-length to persistent cookies of up to around one to two years. Category: functional (non-essential third-party embed). Because it is not essential, the widget only loads after you choose “Allow all”. If you choose “Essential only”, we show a placeholder with a plain link to Calendly instead and nothing is loaded from Calendly until you click it. Calendly’s own cookie and privacy notices apply once you interact with it.
5. Other third-party requests (no cookies set by us)
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — our typefaces are requested from Google’s font servers. This does not set advertising cookies, but Google receives your IP address and browser details in order to serve the files.
- Resend — used server-side to email us your contact-form submission. It runs after you submit and sets nothing on your device.
6. What we do not use
Apart from the Google Analytics measurement described above, we do not use any other analytics suite, advertising or retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels, A/B testing tools, session recording, heatmaps, fingerprinting or cross-site profiling. If that ever changes, this policy and the consent banner will be updated first.
7. Your choices
When you first visit, our banner lets you allow all cookies, analytics and embedded content or keep to essential only. Analytics and non-essential embeds load only if you choose “Allow all”. You can change your mind at any time here:
Current preference: Not set yet
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings and clear local storage there. Most browsers let you block or remove cookies per site and offer tracking protection or a private-browsing mode. To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites you can install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking essential items may break the contact form’s security check.

[For review] Cookie names and durations set by Cloudflare, Calendly and Google Analytics are controlled by those providers and can change; they should be re-verified with a cookie scan before publication, together with the GA4 data-retention setting configured in our property.
